M.B.S. series 700 Flat 2-axle vehicles

In the M.B.S. 700 series are flat 2-axle vehicles, consisting of 702, 703, 704 and 705.
M.B.S. 702 and 703 are going to be assembled into a wagon set for transporting long

pieces, such as wooden poles, rails, etc.
Flat car set 704 and 705 are also assembled by means of a coupling beam for the same purpose.

Cars 702 and 704 are interchangeable and both have a coupling beam, 703 and 705 are also interchangeable and don't have a coupling beam.

M.B.S. 701 is the only one that has been converted into a tank wagon and is used for track cleaning.

M.B.S. 701

M.B.S. 701 is the cleaning truck for the outdoor track.
The tanker with rail cleaning shoes has a completely new plastic tank with gauge glass.
This fluid tank can be filled with special cleaning fluid that is lubricated on the rails via the felt skids between the axles.

The felt skids can be lifted when not in use and the fluid supply is adjustable with a shut-off valve.
With the frame of the removed M.B.S. 220, this car will be in service as of October 18, 2023.

On top of the accommodating manifold what with

the tank is connected.

The control valve for the cleaning fluid compresses the silicone supply hose between the tank and the cleaning shoes by turning it clockwise.

M.B.S. 702

M.B.S. 702 is a flat car, close coupled with M.B.S. 703 by means of a 2.53m long coupling beam, for longwood transport.
The center to center distance between the bars is 7m (31.1cm).
M.B.S. 702 was built with residual parts of M.B.S. 401 and 404 mounted on a short standard L.G.B. frame

M.B.S. 703 is a flat wagon, close-coupled to M.B.S. 702 by means of a 2.53m (89mm) long coupling beam, for

the transport of longer objects.

The center to center distance between bars is 7m (31.1cm).

M.B.S. 703 has been taken over from a foreign company and is converted to M.B.S. proportions.

M.B.S. 704

M.B.S. 704 is a flat wagon, close-coupled to M.B.S. 705 by means of a 2.53m (89mm) long coupling beam, for

the transport of longer objects.
The center to center distance between bars is 7m (31.1cm).
